What better way to welcome the warmer weather than live music? We performed a “conservationist” concert for area youth at the Kings Bay Y in Brooklyn, NY.  The event centered on the beauty and wonder of nature.

We discussed the importance of trees, plants and fruits in our daily lives as well as simple ways that we can all help keep our city clean! All this learning took place while singing and clapping our hands to nature-y songs such as "Here Comes the Sun" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". The event culminated in us planting lima beans. It was a great event, that entertained children of all ages!

Last month, we performed a holiday spectacular for nearby cancer patients. The performance included holiday classics such as Carol of the Bells and Jingle Bell Rock, as well as some more classical choices such as Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Pachelbel’s Canon.

Performing for patients while they were receiving their chemotherapy was a powerful experience that truly attested to the healing power of music. Leona is adamant about spreading her joy of music, especially during the holiday season. “Uplifting even a single person through the power of music is a success in my book.”

TfTaT is always looking for opportunities to perform in the NY area. If you or anybody you know is looking for a concert, please contact Leona.
